Tasting Note
Well, who’d thought that English white wine could be so tasty? This is a fantastic example coming from Will Davenport who’s been at the forefront of the organic wine scene in the UK for many a year now. This is based on a grape that’s grown across the UK know – Bacchus. In many ways it’s very similar to Sauvignon Blanc, it shares many the same flavour profile – elderflowers, gooseberries etc… yet this wine saw an amount of barrel ageing, which gives it a creamy texture and slightly lower acidity. With an abv of 11.45% also, this makes it extremely easy to drink.
